“Nothing like the photos: dirty, unbearably hot, poorly managed, and not worth the money.”

Unfortunately, nothing. We decided to leave the property early because our experience was far below our expectations. If you are used to normal standards of cleanliness, comfort and customer service, I cannot recommend staying here. This was by far the worst accommodation we stayed at during our trip through the Philippines. The room looked nothing like the photos. It was extremely hot because the air conditioner was completely inadequate for the location and size of the room. Sleeping comfortably was impossible. The room also could not be properly darkened because there were no blackout curtains. The “bed” was simply a mattress on the floor. The bathroom was dirty, the shower smelled like sewage, and there were woodworms throughout the wooden structure. The windows could not be opened properly because the staff told us they might fall out. Outside, the property was poorly maintained and the path from the main road to the room looked like a dumping site and was poorly signposted. After dark, we repeatedly noticed male staff members walking around the houses and looking through the room windows, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Reception was frequently unattended. Communication with management was extremely frustrating. Management never responded directly, while the receptionist kept saying only management could make decisions. Housekeeping staff spent long periods sitting directly outside our room watching TikTok videos at high volume, making it impossible to relax. The beach directly in front of the property is not suitable for swimming. We checked out early because we simply could not continue our stay. We immediately informed the property in person, confirmed it again via WhatsApp and cooperated fully so the room could be rented again. Despite this, communication regarding our refund was impossible because our messages were ignored. I wish I had taken more photos, but at that point we simply wanted to leave. I liked the decor, but the bed was uncomfortable and kept creaking. The shower was fine, though the system could be improved; we had to hold the shower head in place.

“Disappointed”

Organic soap, little fridge. 1. Incomplete check-in orientation which also started with negative aura - YOU CANNOT CHECK-IN at 1pm (even if the room is ready and no other guests in sight), YOU CANNOT BRING FRIENDS, YOU CANNOT. 2. Room Cleaning - As the property's wooden beams and native materials paneling were old and infested by termites and wood borers, it's decaying with wood worm and termites resulting to too many termites dust fell from ceiling to everywhere.on the floor, beds, sofa and furnishings; it is advisable to clean the room daily. The room needed sweeping every day at the very least. It's very uncomfortable when you're sleeping and termites dust fell on your face when you wake up. When staff were asked why the room was not refreshed, they said we have not requested it. Apparently, we should have been instructed during check-in but we were not told how to request for room refresh. Meanwhile, we've seen 3 staff sitting at the reception area plus 1 security guard. 3. If the goal is to live like Tarzan, then they were missing spiderwebs to complement the termites dust

The staff were very unpleasant; a daughter of mine who was staying elsewhere came into my room and was treated poorly—she was left for 5 minutes! The room was dirty, there were bugs in the bed, the trash wasn’t emptied, and the outlets didn’t hold.

“Needs improvement”

The bathroom is fine and the beach view is amazing, but the bed isn’t sturdy and the foam keeps shifting. There were fewer staff than expected, the entrance is a bit odd, power interruptions are frequent, and the AC doesn’t cool well.
