Great location for the Anacapri area. The host was always present and friendly, and she even brought us breakfast in the morning. Excellent value for money, probably the best on the island! The bed was great, the shower had shower gel, and the kitchen was well equipped. The only missing feature was a TV, but that was not an issue.

The place is quiet, the room was spotless, and the B&B owner was very friendly and ready to give us tips on what to do on the island. Everything was absolutely perfect.

We booked Casa Maria at the last minute and are so glad we did! Our previous accommodation had been a nightmare, so we left Rome three days early and found this listing available, getting a reply right away. Carmen, the host, is absolutely amazing! She communicated thoroughly, was accommodating and extremely thoughtful. She is the best host we could have asked for. The property is very clean with essential amenities and treats. She went out of her way to help us with details during our trip, like our boat rental which we almost paid more for, but she helped cancel and rebook a better fit! She also gave us bus information for getting to different beaches and activities. The property is in Anacapri, and because we booked with Casa Maria, we now know we LOVE this area the most! It felt like vacation and home, so it was our favorite part of our 23‑day Italy tour. The care and location of Casa Maria made it all the difference. The walk into town is brief and beautiful! There is a grocery store, bus stop, restaurants and a shopping area very close by. While staying here, we knew we were staying with someone who genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. I really wish we could have cancelled our booking that came after and booked more days here (I did look, but there was no availability lol). We have learned that not every property on the island is as thoughtful or easy to vacation at (no matter how pretty the pictures look). But Casa Maria is! Thank you Carmen for everything and we will be back!! The only thing I can think of is to be aware of what it is like walking near streets. This is not specific to this property, it is all of Capri. In fact, walking to and from Casa Maria is easier and pleasant compared to others lol.
