I skipped breakfast, but the 24‑hour café offered a wide range of Indonesian and Western dishes plus excellent coffee. The place sits right next to Balikpapan’s EWalk mall, and the staff were welcoming. The bed was super comfy and sheets were changed daily. Still, instead of a Nescafé sachet in the room, a complimentary fresh coffee in the morning would have been nicer, especially since Midtown has a café with fresh brew—maybe a coffee voucher would encourage guests to try it.

Fantastic sleep quality and great value near BSB! I had a pleasant 3-night stay at this budget hotel, which is conveniently located near the Balikpapan Superblock. While the standard room and bathroom are quite small, upgrading to a larger room is an option. I was particularly impressed by the super comfortable pillows and duvet, which provided the best sleep of my entire trip. The hotel also offers excellent laundry services, reliable group transport, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Plus, the 24-hour cafe downstairs serves delicious food. It is a fantastic value for travelers who prioritize sleep quality, great amenities, and helpful service. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers!
