The property is huge, and its spot near the train station and the square is convenient. However, the owners weren’t very helpful; we asked for four things—keeping our luggage until the flight, an umbrella, and two other items—and each request ended with a polite “sorry, but no.” Breakfast isn’t actually included; we only received a voucher for a cappuccino and croissant at a nearby café. The bed was very uncomfortable. Also, the room has doors that lead to other rooms locked by the owner, and you enter the property from the street straight into your room, which is normal in Sicily but not my preference.

The room was filled with a strong cigarette smell, the bed was uncomfortable, and there were no pillows. Paying 100 euros for a night and ending up in a room that reeks of cigarette smoke is unacceptable.

The location is great—just a 10‑minute walk to the sea, and there’s a supermarket, restaurants, and bars nearby. The room is cozy and stays cool. The bathroom is a bit dim, the TV should be a smart TV, and I expected at least one set of fresh linens and a room cleaning during my week-long stay, but that never happened.

The host was very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation is right next to the train station, which is handy if you’re heading to the airport. The piazza, harbor, and sandy beach are all within a few minutes’ walk. The breakfast voucher is worth 3 € per person and can be used flexibly for any food or drink. Overall, the stay was pleasant and the location was especially convenient for us. Some aspects could still improve: the room had little natural light and the lighting wasn’t very bright or cozy. Extra light sources and a bit more wall décor would enhance the atmosphere. The light fixture between the room and bathroom didn’t work. The hairdryer was broken, made loud noises, and smelled burnt when turned on, so we couldn’t use it. For two nights, there was only one roll of toilet paper and no spare, which felt a bit tight. The mattress cover kept coming off, and the mattress was only moderately comfortable; it squeaked with every movement. Because there’s no kitchen, there’s no dishware or cutlery; disposable cups or cutlery would be handy for short stays. These are minor issues that could make the stay even nicer with a bit of effort.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura e mi sono trovata davvero benissimo! La colazione è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa: il ragazzo, al mio arrivo, mi ha consegnato un biglietto da portare al bar che si trova a solo un minuto a piedi. La colazione era davvero buonissima, con prodotti tipici e di ottima qualità. Un altro grande punto di forza è sicuramente la posizione: la struttura si trova a soli 3 minuti dal centro e a 1 minuto dalla stazione, quindi è comodissima per spostarsi. Inoltre, in circa 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge la splendida spiaggia di Isola delle Femmine. La posizione è perfetta anche per visitare i dintorni: con il treno o il pullman si possono raggiungere facilmente Palermo Centrale, Cefalù e San Vito Lo Capo. Consigliatissima, soprattutto per chi vuole avere tutto a portata di mano e muoversi comodamente anche senza macchina!
