“Un posto dove abbiamo lasciato il cuore”
We stayed at Agriturismo La Collina for just two nights on our way back from a long holiday in Sicily, a stop to break the journey home. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful surprises of our trip. The property is wonderful, fully surrounded by greenery and tranquility, a place where you instantly feel you can slow down and relax. The spaces are lovely and the beautiful pool, reserved for room guests, is a real added value. The agriturismo also has a restaurant, and we absolutely recommend taking advantage of it: we dined wonderfully and were pampered by the delightful Monica and the highly professional Francesco, both capable of making you feel truly a guest, not just a customer. We also enjoyed a great aperitif, prepared and served with great care. The rooms are very nice and especially quiet: we slept very well. A pleasant surprise was the air‑conditioning, especially comfortable and discreet, without the usual split units, thanks to a floor system that keeps a very pleasant temperature. The most significant thing we can say is that, even though we were in a wonderful area and had planned visits to Pitigliano and the Saturnia thermal baths – following the excellent advice received at the property – every time we left the agriturismo we almost regretted it! The level of relaxation here is really hard to describe. It’s also possible to stroll, explore the estate, and meet its animals, including chickens, rabbits, pigs and other small protagonists of agriturismo life: another way to immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere. When we arrived we had read many positive reviews and, after staying here, we can only confirm them and add our own. Nothing to complain about, everything on point.

Exceptional location with views of the Maremmana hills, very enjoyable pool. The restaurant is great, serving local dishes and wines. Because of a malfunction, the room’s air‑conditioning was inefficient (outside temperature was around 36/37 degrees).

If you’re looking for a place to completely escape everyday routine, this is the right one. The location is optimal for reaching all the main nearby attractions, yet the property is fully immersed in greenery and offers absolute silence, interrupted only by nature’s sounds. All areas are well‑maintained and spotless, from the rooms to the pool. The food is excellent and the staff are welcoming, kind, and always ready to meet any need. We’re already nostalgic for this place and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.
