We were treated to the host family’s usual nomadic breakfast and more, and we got to experience their way of life through meals and activities. The location is beautiful, expansive, and peaceful. The hosts were attentive and helped us with our needs and extra activities. The only downside was that the toilets could use a few clothes hooks for hanging clothes while attending to nature.

The staff were friendly and even prepared a vegetarian meal for us. The location is truly off the beaten path, giving a real steppes vibe. I think it’s a great spot if you want to stay for a while with the family and learn more. The bathroom and shower setup were lacking, but that’s expected in such a remote area. We felt the staff were a bit reserved, perhaps due to a language barrier, though the owner spoke very good English.

The location right in the Mongolian steppe is simply stunning. I especially loved the authentic family life and the many animals – horses, foals, yaks, dogs, and a cat. A highlight was the four‑hour ride through the impressive landscape to a monastery. Experiencing the horse milking was also a special moment. The family was very warm and I felt completely comfortable. The only thing to keep in mind is that life in the steppe is very primitive and simple – but that’s exactly what makes this stay unique and authentic for me.

We had a fantastic time with the family – they were super welcoming and friendly, creating a cozy vibe. The local dinner was delicious, and it was great to see them working with the horses and yaks. It was a 100% authentic experience, and I would highly recommend it.

An exceptional week in the middle of the steppes! Everything was perfect; we got to discover nomadic life and enjoy the calm of nature. The welcome was warm and we had real quality moments. We recommend it 10000%! Thank you for everything 😚
