“Great one night stay with a beautiful view & rooftop pool in convenient downtown location.”
The property and room were spotless and thoughtfully designed, with a spacious bathroom and a comfy bed. The location was great, parking was covered, the pool was lovely, and the staff—thanks Ryan & Roger—were outstanding; they arranged a reasonable late checkout for my late flight and offered to hold my luggage until 8 pm, which I didn’t use but it was reassuring. I requested a higher floor with a decent view, and instead of the 2nd floor I was moved to the 4th, which was beautiful and appreciated. The shower was large with nice lavender & eucalyptus body wash. The lobby was large and clean, elevators were fast, and I chose Marriott over other hotels because of their consistency across properties. When I approached the front desk twice, several staff members were chatting, but they all stopped talking to help me, which is something many places don’t do and I appreciated. The pool signage on the 4th floor was lacking; I was on the opposite side and had to ask the front desk to learn the pool was on the other side. Parking costs $30, which is steep. The pool interior had some sand and looked a bit dirty. There was no breakfast offered. The bathroom had two bright overhead lights, which are fine sometimes, but I would have liked a dimmer for nighttime. There was no tub.
