Quirky, cool, and exquisitely rustic. The hosts communicated well. We appreciated the privacy and our own little yard, and the dogs were welcome. They even provided wood for the fire, and everything we needed for a cozy stay was available. The only small suggestion for future guests is an extra blanket in the bedroom area.
