Cleanliness is definitely there! The staff who clean inside and out know what they're doing, thanks to them. The location isn't super trendy, but it's not far from the ADW either. You can walk to residential areas with shops, several bus stops, and recreational spots. Only a sign for the pension on the street or entrance would be great, because right now you can't see it from the outside. Noise: I stayed three nights and didn't notice anything big, day or night, from neighbors (they all share walls) or traffic, or nearby businesses. So either it's great or I was lucky. Heating and cooling: it's done via the air conditioner, which takes a bit of time to heat up, but it's quiet and you can control everything with a remote. The bathroom has a modern electric heater with digital controls, so there's not much to complain about. I can't judge how it behaves in winter. Bottom line: if you're looking for something simple but well-maintained and don't need to be within two minutes of Hamburg, this place works. Thanks for the hospitality. The equipment is simple but new and not worn out. There could be a few more details, like coat hooks in the hallway or a toilet paper holder, but those aren't major negatives.
