“Calanda”
The place had a nice spot with farm and mountain views, and we got the pool to ourselves because we arrived early. Only four rooms were available, sharing a kitchen and lounge, but we didn’t need them since our room had its own seating and TV. We used the kitchen for dinner because there was no restaurant nearby, though a good supermarket was on the way in Calanda. Nuela’s electronic translator made breakfast fun and communication a lot easier! Internet was good, and we could park our motorbike in the open car port. The place felt quirky, as Nuela explained, themed as a tribute to a Spanish film director. The kitchen wasn’t as clean as we’d hoped when we arrived; it needed wiping, and there was no cleaning product available—just a cloth.
