“Apaisant, calme et reposant”

A true quiet escape in the heart of the Aude. The estate kept all its authenticity and exudes exceptional charm, and the owners’ welcome was simply wonderful: available, warm, and attentive. If you enjoy silence and nature, go for it—you won’t regret it. Honestly, there’s always something to comment on somewhere, but here everything is well thought out. The only point to note is that dining options nearby are limited, so it’s better to book ahead. With a little planning, there are no problems.

“Super séjour”

The change of scenery, the charm of the building, the deer in sight, the hosts’ kindness, and the good breakfast were all great. It was a shame the pool was closed at that time; that would have been very appreciated.

“Beau séjour en campagne malgré un temps...très pluvieux!”

The host’s welcome was really sweet and accommodating. The location’s proximity to the Abbey of Sainte-Marie de Rieunette was a plus. The room was nice, but I think the double bed’s mattress we had needs replacing. The breakfast included various grilled breads (the whole wheat bread was very good, along with white bread and Viennese baguette), butter, jams (which were very good), and orange juice, but I expected that, given the high price, the orange juice would be freshly squeezed rather than industrial, and that there would be more options (yogurt, eggs, cheese…). Maybe they do that at other times of the year? We didn’t have time to see the deer, but I hope to next time.
