“Beautiful night in the desert.”

The distance from Merzouga is actually a benefit if you want that true “out in the desert” feel. However, a bit more pre‑arrival info would have helped—especially about the 4x4 transfer, dinner, and sunset camel ride, all of which were extra and not included in the rate. We could only pay with cash, so the driver had to wait while we went to the bank the next day for money. It wasn’t a huge issue, but having those details in an FAQ would have been nice.

As a full‑time YouTuber who dives deep into camp reviews on TipsNNTricks and BensbergFilms, I had an amazing time here. I chose this camp for its unique location, far from other camps. A nearby camp was quiet, and on our sunrise hike up the dune there were only one other couple from that camp, so we still had plenty of space to enjoy the sunrise together. Hafid, the camp manager, took excellent care of me and arranged my tent just the way I wanted it. We had clear WhatsApp communication about where to park our rental car and the meeting point. We drove in with a 4x4, dropped off our luggage, received welcome mint tea, and then went on a sunset camel ride. Yidir, another staff member, also did a great job and took excellent care of me. After the camel ride, dinner was delicious—a chicken tagine, a soup starter, and fruit for dessert. I woke up early for a sunrise hike up the dune right in front of the camp; it was a steep climb but well worth it and highly recommended. I returned for breakfast, which was absolutely incredible. Then I cleaned up and headed back to the rental car. I had an amazing time and would definitely stay again. The rooms have AC, a suite toilet, shower, and sink. “Presque parfait”

Le lieu est splendide, le personnel accueillant, serviable et adorable. Les activités proposées, quad et balade en chameau, sont excellentes. L’aménagement est au top, offrant tout le confort au cœur du désert. Le dîner manquait un peu de saveurs et d’assaisonnement, et le service était beaucoup trop rapide entre les plats, mais le responsable a fait la remarque au serveur.

“Geweldig!”

Royal Luxury Camp is smaller and more isolated than other tent camps, giving a great feeling of being truly in the dunes. The staff is fantastic and does everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

“Bellissimo!!! Consiglio!!”

We spent our New Year’s Eve night here! The tents were very tidy and clean, with a working shower that I didn’t expect in the desert. We arrived in the dunes with a gentleman who drove us in a 4x4, which was a lot of fun! The dinner was tasty, and breakfast was also good. The live Berber music concert was beautiful and made us dance around the fire all night! Thanks a lot. Nothing to add.
