The room, especially the bathroom, looked clearly worn and not well maintained. The bathroom door had large dark scuff marks, the toilet was visibly unclean upon arrival, and the shower and fixtures gave a heavily aged impression. The provided Wi‑Fi didn’t work. The room was cold, even though we were promised the heating would be on. Older furnishings were not a problem for me. The real issue was the mix of poor cleanliness, visible maintenance needs, and non‑functional or unmet services. The water and juice pitchers and glasses at breakfast were heavily worn. The breakfast itself was subpar, with store‑bought rolls, cheap packaged cheese, and a few old plums and discarded mandarines. For a price of 100 € per night I don’t find it justified.
