Getting there was easy, just off the highway and close to restaurants. However, there was no hot water, and I found chewed‑up chewing pouches and dirty Q‑tips under the bed.

The parking lot was very dark and small, giving a sense of insecurity; the exterior and lobby looked run down. It was okay, but I’m not sure I’d stay again.

Kevin at the front desk was super helpful and kind, and the breakfast was decent—nothing else really stood out. Our room on the 2nd floor was infested with spiders and beetles; the bathroom was filthy, the couch was dirty, and there was old dried vomit on a trash can. Spider webs covered the walls and window, the hot water didn’t work, the plumbing was broken, and each flush would sit at the rim before finally draining. The window unit was filthy and took a long time to cool the room.

The staff were rude and they changed the cost of my stay after I booked, applying their own rates. They also required a $100 deposit, something I’d never had to do before.

The location and food were great. Water took a long time to heat on Friday night and Saturday morning, but it was fine Sunday morning.
