The place was clean, the staff were responsive and the hot water worked well. The location was far from the beach, but that wasn’t a problem for me. However, everywhere there were packs of dogs, and after sunset I only felt safe walking back on the tuk‑tuk, which scared me. Once during the week the electricity went out for the whole day, and the Dialog service on my SIM was unreliable.

The owners were friendly and helpful, the accommodation was spotless, and the kitchen was nicely equipped for use. I could also use the washing machine for about 700 roepies, though I didn’t need it. For the price, there’s no better option. I’d definitely return.
