City Center Kaķis B&B sits in central Sigulda, just a five‑minute walk from Gauja National Park and a short drive to Turaida Museum Reserve. Rooms feature free Wi‑Fi, cable TV, and private bathrooms. On‑site amenities include a bistro serving Latvian and international dishes, a pastry shop, pizza parlour, summer terrace, billiards, darts, and airport shuttle service. We booked one night from 30.09 to 01/10. The spot is right in the center, within walking distance to many sites and entertainment, and parking is free. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The room had a double bed; although we’re not picky, all the amenities satisfied us. There was a kettle and tea available, a nice double bed, a comfortable mattress, warm yet light blankets, and we slept soundly. The hotel’s bistro offered simple but tasty food, a good variety for every taste, and excellent coffee. We dined there on both days. There’s also a pastry shop with delicious baked goods; in the evening we grabbed some treats for tea, and in the morning we took a meringue roll with us and asked the staff to keep it in the fridge until the evening, which they kindly agreed to. The price/value ratio is 10/10. We will definitely return.

Quiet, very comfortable place to stay, amazing breakfast and the lovely Latvian songs that played during the meal. Everything was great.
