“Petrolo can turn into a paradise, but like anywhere else you have to share it with lovely people”
Petrolo has become, for my personal reasons and some tangible ones, one of my favorite spots in the world.

The views were breathtaking, and there was plenty of space for a group. The beds were comfy, hot water was always on hand, and the heating and fireplace kept us cozy. It was wonderfully relaxing—we enjoyed every moment. The only downside was the lack of basic kitchen items like salt, sugar, and oil.

The house (Vigna) was spacious, the pool was delightful, and the surroundings were lovely among olive trees and vines. Staff responded quickly and politely whenever something came up. We enjoyed a nice wine tasting with excellent house wines, especially the whites. The exterior view of the house is shocking, but inside everything feels right. Not all mattresses are equally good. The path to the house is poor, so keep that in mind.

A very nice house in a beautiful location. The house was extremely clean and fully equipped. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but they didn’t detract from our stay or the overall experience.
