The spot is good, about a 20‑minute walk to town, but a motorbike is recommended since food options near the homestay are scarce. The bed and AC in the room were comfortable, and for backpackers it had everything we needed, though we’ve stayed in better places. When we arrived there was nobody at reception (and that remained true for the whole stay), so our taxi driver had to call the host on her phone to check us in. The shower had no handle and the remaining part wouldn’t budge to turn on; after about two hours maintenance came, but we had to switch rooms instead, and there was no hot water. No toilet paper was supplied.

The vibe is interesting, close to Chenang beach and a night market nearby. Nothing to complain about.

The location is good, the rooms are worth what you pay, and the owner is accommodating. Whenever there was a problem or question, the owner acted quickly to resolve it and meet our needs. During a longer stay, staff could have offered a light cleaning of the room.
