The staff were well‑trained and friendly, explaining everything to us in German.

The breakfast was good to very good, with freshly baked bread and generous portions, though the variety stayed the same over five days. The hotel is eight years old, and stains on the carpets and upholstery could be removed. The showers are cleaner than elsewhere, but the wear of time is evident.
