“A tranquil escape”
The location and atmosphere are nice and tranquil—very isolated and peaceful, with a great view of the lake from the honeymoon cabin. Fresh air, forest trees, and shrubbery make it a beautiful spot. The cabin has a fireplace inside, a closed porch with leisure chairs to admire the lake, a kitchenette with a stove and oven, a small gas stove for power outages, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The kitchenette has most essentials, and wood, charcoal, and firelighters with matches are available for a fee. The bathroom floor creaks and is uneven, likely due to water damage, which rocks the toilet to one side. The oven is a bit wonky; a gas stove would be better given the electricity outages, but the mini gas stove works in an emergency. The wood was wet from the weather, so starting the fireplace was a bit of a struggle. The wood and firelighters cost extra. All the lightbulbs are cold white, giving a hospital vibe rather than a cozy cabin.
