A great experience staying in a traditional Japanese house. The space was very roomy.

The cleaning was thorough, there were many books, and I felt excited. The atmosphere was cool and full of nature, which was great. I wish the Wi‑Fi instructions had been placed with the check‑in instructions. The air‑con remote was on the top of the bookshelf, so I had to look for it. It would have helped if the room name had been written in the place where it should be. Even though they said “courtyard side,” I was uneasy about the darkness when I checked in at night. I also wanted paper cups next to the water server; I wondered if ceramic cups would be enough for all the guests.

The atmosphere was simply perfect!

They warmed the room before I arrived, the parking lot was large, and most importantly the room was spacious. I was exhausted this time and couldn’t enjoy everything, but I’ll definitely use it again when I travel to Shikoku. The roads were narrow and scary on the way 😱

“Wonderful experience”

The house was exceptional and the staff and owners were amazing. They helped us get to the location, let us use their sauna tent outside the house, brought fresh tasty strawberries, and arranged a taxi for the morning to the airport. The house is beautiful in the countryside but close to the city. We loved it!!
