“Owner unprofessional”

The place was okay – bed, shower, and TV were fine. The room was basic but acceptable. The Wi‑Fi never worked, and when I messaged the owner about it he was very rude, almost aggressive, and unprofessional. He told me that if I wasn’t happy I’d have to pay more, which felt far from complimentary. He didn’t give me any building access codes; I had to sneak in through another resident. Later that night I needed my car, got locked out, and had to lean over the roof terrace to get another guest’s attention, which was dangerous and showed a total lack of owner responsibility.

“Very good budget option. Ideal for a day or two whilst you set up for adventures around the north of wales”

The place is great, right in the middle of town and within walking distance to everything. The shower was excellent, the bed comfortable, and everything was clean. It was very reasonably priced, and all interactions were handled via messages, no staff needed. The downside was the heavy traffic noise outside – it’s expected in the center, so ear plugs help. It was a shame the pub was closed; it might stay that way forever, but I’m not sure.

“Pub very rowdy and loud”

I’d stayed here before and thought I knew what to expect, but this time the pub stayed noisy until about 1 am, with people shouting and an ambulance arriving for someone who had clearly had too much to drink. Room 2 was right in front of and above the pub door. The mattress was lumpy. Previously it was basic but okay; the standard seems to have slipped, and you can’t let a rowdy pub above your room and expect guests to sleep well.

“Average”

The spot is great, but the bed left a lot to be desired.

They greeted me warmly, the room was decent and the bed was comfortable; the area is quiet with barely any outside noise and a lovely Indian restaurant just across the street. Checking in was a breeze, thanks. The only gripe was the loud music downstairs on Saturday night, but since it was a pub it didn’t bother me too much.
