The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly.

The bed was very comfortable and linens were crisp clean and smelt freshly laundered. We booked the king suite. The hot tub drain had a continuous drain, severe enough that in order to enjoy it we had to keep a stream of water flowing. It didn't make for a peaceful soak. One of the jets had been caulked heavily around it with white caulk. We understand repairs but this made it feel like we were in a cheap rundown room. The same with the walls. It looked like they had to patch the walls and they did match the paint color but they were textured walls with a patch job. Not small but approximately 6-9 minimum inches and then just painted over. Not blended into a textured wall. Again it just made it feel a bit slummy. The coffee pot was so hot that we did half ice water in our cup and half from the coffee pot and it was still almost boiling

The hot tub jets were excellent and the bed was very comfortable, but I booked a balcony room with a sofa bed and ended up with a smaller room even though I was charged the full price. The toilet seat was barely attached, pinching my leg and leaving a bruise.

We enjoyed the pool and appreciated that they extended its opening hours, but the room felt overpriced for its small size.
