Our reservation was cancelled when we arrived to check‑in. We didn’t get a refund, and a rude, incompetent woman answered the phone.

I tried to check in on the day, but they told me to cancel because they weren’t accepting guests that day, without giving a reason or apologising; they just kept saying “no” and only reluctantly said sorry when I pressed. They hadn’t even recorded my reservation, so I had no idea I’d be turned away.

I couldn’t enter the room because of a strong cigarette smell; they told me to open the door and turn on the AC, which was absurd. I almost arrived after booking and they warned me the room might not be ready, which I couldn’t understand. I will never stay here again.

I’d stayed here before, so I rebooked, but this time the fridge had a rotten smell that the owners ignored. The missing perks—no pool, no promised wine for stays over five nights—were already an issue on my first visit, but the smell and the owners’ lack of response made everything worse. I won’t return.
