The welcome text message was very good and the room met my needs. However, there were tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a kettle but no mugs to use them in. The sink had no plug, the taps were not labelled hot or cold so I didn’t know which to use. The light in the toilet didn’t work and some joker had hidden the keypad activation instructions inside the room.

The location was acceptable and free parking was a plus. The photos showed towels and shower gel, but those were not actually included. The front‑door lock was broken and the curtains didn’t block out the light.

Honest where do i start not 1 thing i did not even enter the room. First off all it shouldn't be on booking .com its a homeless hostel it was full of jjunkies no staff doors hanging off drugs ie cannabis getting smoked all over the house kitchen was filthy and disgusting people inn and out off rooms bathroom was vile 2 junkies commented on my touring bike there was people jumping over fences music blasting i lasted 30 mins if that i needed 1 nite until my lodge was sorted i left pitched up my tent in a field it was that bad disgusting the owner is advertising it as lodge when it houses drug addicts and junkies i even seen a drug dealer drop off drugs too some poor woman jumped in a white 20k audi car horrendous should be shut down

All I had was a bed and a roof over my head. No staff were present or reachable. When problems arose I was left to deal with them alone. The owner seemed indifferent to how guests felt. There were no towels, no hair dryer, a shared shower on the hallway for everyone, a shared toilet for everyone (as far as I could tell). The toilet’s cleanliness was poor; there were no toilet brushes to remove fecal residue. The room description advertised a heater, but it didn’t work, so I froze because the closed window let in the cold.

It was dirty and grubby; I didn’t get into bed, I lay on top with my clothes on. I’m sorry for this, it’s a (shit hole) – it is not a guest house.
