It was lovely and clean, the owners were helpful, breakfast was lovely, and we would highly recommend this hotel.

“Comfortable and clean”

The location was brilliant and they allowed dogs to stay, which was great; the bed was lovely and comfy and the place was clean, though there wasn’t a mirror by a plug—just a minor point—and parking at the property was lacking, but otherwise everything else was fine.

“Awful, will not be returning”

I was shocked by the noise: racers on the street until midnight, people sitting outside our windows past 11 pm, and the street light bleeding through the blinds even though the room faced south/west. I tried to call the number for help, left a voicemail, and only after a while did the noise stop. The entrance was through a rough‑looking pub and a fire escape past bins, and the reception felt unfriendly, as if we were a bother. I couldn't open the windows because of the noise, and the room got unbearably hot during the day and hard to cool at night. Wi‑Fi was impossible to connect to, even the landlord couldn't fix it. I couldn't sleep.

“Nice pub with nice rooms above”

The staff were helpful, the bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was nice.
