This cabin is my dream home: outside there are horses, sheep, and chickens, and in the morning many little birds flit through the forest. From the window you can see the mountain view, which changes with the light, and sitting inside the cabin you can enjoy all of it! I wish I could stay a few more days.

The wooden house Ikue built on the edge of her garden and a wide meadow is bright and pleasant; we felt comfortable there. However, it isn’t in the forest as the name suggests. The attractions are all about an hour’s drive on average, and the immediate surroundings lack charm. The kitchen is under‑equipped: only a few glasses, cutlery, and a single stove. Despite this, Ikue was very kind in helping us organize our stay.
