Breakfast is great, prepared in the room for the next morning with a good variety of options. The location is convenient, just a few minutes’ walk to the waterfront and the archaeological museum. The host is very available and courteous.

Casa Sigizia is a small, cozy BnB about 8 minutes on foot from the ferry pier to the Aeolian Islands. It’s very comfortable and quiet, and the host, Antonio, is exceptional, offering great advice on things to do, where to eat, and especially which wines to try during your stay. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast boasts excellent coffee and an outstanding bergamot pastry. Another perk: when we mentioned that one of us is gluten‑free, Antonio immediately arranged gluten‑free snacks for breakfast. Truly a gem. Nothing to complain about.

Great location, a bit far from the central station but just a few minutes’ walk to the museum with the Riace bronzes, the waterfront, and a short walk to the port for the ferry to the Aeolian Islands. The breakfast is abundant with bergamot‑flavored local products, and the owner is very welcoming, kind, and ready to help with any need, offering suggestions on sights and dining spots.
