“A FUIR! Honteux pour hotel soit disant 5 étoiles (il doit y avoir une erreur ça serait 3 et encore)”
The front desk staff, especially Resul, and the friendly old lady who made gözleme (though I can’t recall her name) were great, and the Turkish cuisine was decent, though we often had to wait for the laundry to bring us spoons and plates, which made the main restaurant’s service uneven. The location is convenient, with a direct underground passage to the sea, even if it looks almost ruined. However, upon arrival the two sea‑view rooms we’d booked—separate, pricey, and already assigned to other guests without warning—were taken, and we were offered a family room with no view, just beside the external pool at the back, which didn’t justify the price we paid on Booking. We accepted it to avoid sleeping outside. The room cleaning was only superficial, with sheets changed only every three days, the bathroom never cleaned, and the shower and toilet left dirty; the trash bin was broken. In the rooms we found spiders, cockroaches, ants on the bed and under the pillow, and scarabs—photos show it didn’t improve despite repeated complaints. The bathroom was dilapidated: missing shower head, a loose flush, and no toilet paper or soap. The balcony door curtain was torn and never replaced during our 10‑day stay.
