“Erschreckend und traumatisch.”
The hotel sits quietly by the forest, and parking is close to the building. The breakfast was generous. On the arrival day, 07. Oktober, I noticed four medium‑sized dogs that looked almost identical in the entrance area and near the reception. They seemed calm and laid‑back. Later that evening, I went back to the parking lot with our dog to get an umbrella, hoping Kira could relieve herself on the grass. As we returned, a hostile growl came from the hotel’s garden. On 08. Oktober, late afternoon, I tried to walk our dog, but one of the “hotel dogs” approached us on the lane in front of the hotel. No people were in sight. Suddenly, the dog bit Kira on the upper leg of her hind leg. I managed to pull our dog away; she shook and was shocked. After bringing our dog back to the room, I complained at the reception. The staff listened and expressed regret. In the back area, the senior manager was petting the dog and repeatedly said that Emma would never do that, calling Emma kind, yet she portrayed me as a liar. Later, we went back to the grass. In the main entrance, Emma was already there, staring at us. Fortunately, we could get to our room through the open back entrance. That evening, we didn’t go to the hotel restaurant for dinner as planned. The dog started trembling as soon as we tried to go down the stairs for breakfast the next morning. We left without breakfast a day early, even though we had already paid. Our dog’s health is our top priority.
