The hotel was spotless and getting to the beach was a breeze thanks to plenty of parking. It sits in a central spot, so whether you’re walking or not, everything is within easy reach.

“Great location by the beach but could use more general oversight.”

The location was great, just a short stroll from the beach, and free parking was a big plus. The front‑desk staff across the street was friendly and answered all my questions, even giving me local tips. The bed was clean and comfy, and the price felt fair for a last‑minute booking. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly. However, several of the room’s mechanicals weren’t working, so I told the staff when I left. What really put me off was the smoking on balconies—people outside their doors were smoking, and the parking lot and balcony area smelled of marijuana multiple times, giving off a seedy vibe. The towels were rough, like sandpaper; one was stained, and the bath mat was dingy.

“It was fair at best”

The location was fine. When we got there, a note on the office door told us to cross the street to check in, which felt odd. If I hadn’t seen that note, I’m not sure what I’d have done. The room was clean, but the bathroom was subpar for getting ready—frosted sticky tape blocked the view, and there was no hairdryer or iron, which I’d expect at nicer hotels. When I called the front desk with a question, no one answered.
