I stayed at a place that kept to its traditional roots, offering acerage, horseback riding, and mountain biking, all within walking distance of Capotaxi volcano, where the high‑altitude air felt refreshing. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the food that was available was still good.

Everything was spot on: the surroundings were beautiful, the rooms had a fireplace, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. Nothing was out of the ordinary.

Everything about the property and the people running it was great, and the scenery was outstanding. However, there is a lot of roadwork if you come in from the Machachi side, so you’ll need a high‑clearance vehicle to get through.

The buildings were beautiful, full of character, and the staff were excellent, keeping us comfortable all the time. The fireplace in our room was a lovely touch and was lit for us every night. The restaurant food was excellent, and the included breakfast was superb. I could easily stay here for more than two nights. The views were also great. The only downside is that activities can book out early, so plan ahead.
