The jacuzzi was fine, but the stay was a huge disappointment and we left early. We expected a lot because of the high ratings, yet several things were off. When we arrived, breakfast was already on the table in a basket, even the hot boiled eggs were ready. That seemed odd to us since breakfast should be served in the morning; the hot eggs were especially unpleasant because boiled eggs should be kept cold, so we put them in the fridge. The TV was faulty, so Netflix wouldn’t start. We reported it and the owner tried to help over the phone but failed; he grew impatient and we had to figure it out ourselves. After about an hour we discovered the TV needed a reset, after which Netflix worked again. The promised body lotion and hand cream were missing, and the deodorant was almost empty and defective. When we mentioned that we had to fix these issues ourselves, the owner had an unpleasant phone call with us, sounding condescending and telling us to leave and get a refund. We agreed in writing and left immediately. Later the owner changed his stance and said we still had to pay for the use of the accommodation and wellness, and we haven’t been able to resolve this with him.

Nothing good. The furnishings and floor were broken, the fridge was completely frozen and rusted. There was no natural light, no windows, only moldy skylights. The plastic floorboards were dangerous to walk on.

I booked a night through Booking, but when we arrived the place had a double booking. The owner said we’d get a refund, but he did nothing to process it. I made several calls and sent emails that have still not been answered. Booking’s customer service also said they couldn’t reach the owner. Eventually Booking refunded me, but it was very disappointing that the owner didn’t try to resolve it after his initial promise.
