The staff were exceptionally helpful, even though no one spoke English. They were very conversant with the use of translation apps. They allowed early check‑in as our flight landed 6 hours before the scheduled check‑in, accommodated storing excess luggage while we travelled to Europe, and the facilities were excellent. Laundry and dryer were available. Nothing.

The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the airport, costing 140yuan which was organised by the taxi area at the airport (Capital airport) only problem was no name in English. The taxi driver took our bags up the steeps to hotel reception so handy we caught a taxi. The room was spacious. The bathroom area is not private if friends sharing. With a door on the shower but nowhere to dry and dress unless in the wet shower and nowhere in the shower to keep clothes dry. Little English at reception but of course there is always translating on phone.
