The hotel sits in a decent spot, but next time I’d pick Viejo San Juan instead. The room was a reasonable size, yet it just didn’t feel nice or comfortable overall. It was okay, but the price was too high for what it offers; it feels more like a 2‑star place. It’s more akin to Airbnb rooms than a hotel—there’s no reception or staff on site. Cleaning isn’t scheduled, but if you ask for it they’ll come; you just have to request it.

The staff communicated well online before and after my stay, and the check‑in/check‑out was easy. The location was great, but I wish the room windows could open; the older AC made it stuffy.

I never actually stayed at Casa Condado Hotel. I wasn’t greeted professionally; the receptionist was very rude. She answered the intercom, started shouting at me after I identified myself, and claimed an email had been sent that I never received. She told me to check my email, but I couldn’t access it while out of my carrier’s coverage. If the staff had shown up and been more welcoming, it would have been better.
