The jungle resort is lovely. The huts are simple but have large rooms and everything is clean. The restaurant food is good and the price/value is reasonable. We booked a tour at the hotel; it was well organized, though we had to drive about 40 minutes by minibus to the lake.

Remote and beautiful in the jungle. All cabins face the river and offer a fantastic view. Because it’s so remote at night, wildlife sounds are incredibly loud—a spectacular experience. On one of those days, I was in the hammock by the water when an elephant walked into the river to cool off. How amazing. The staff and food were excellent. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The only downside is that it’s a little far from things—you need a car.

The spot was great and the owners were friendly, she even cooked a tasty meal. The pillow was a bit thin, but they supplied an extra one.

Nice location. But when I got there, there was a hairball in the shower, the floor was dirty, and you could plainly see all the items that had been left on the sink.
