“A huge, beautiful, and very unusual hotel, now a bit neglected”

I think the place used to be a high‑end hotel. It has a unique architecture, a huge size, rich interiors, and a luxurious courtyard with a swimming pool. The room had a balcony and beautiful furnishings, but everything felt old. Luckily our room was in good condition, clean, and the internet worked; I heard from reception that this wasn’t true for everyone. I suggest checking your room before paying, which we did. The beach is just across the street, next to the pier that ferries go out to the islands. The hotel needs renovation, and the price would probably rise a lot if it did, so we probably wouldn’t stay again. Some staff members don’t understand you well. The beach near the hotel isn’t suitable for swimming because the sea is too shallow; you have to go to the islands or visit the neighboring beach 20 minutes away.

Nothing old states on towels. Everything had it booked for 3 nights stayed 1 night an had to leave not nice hotel definitely not a 5 start

“Wunderschönes Haus aber seit Jahren auf absteigendem Ast...”

The breakfast is very cheap, so the quality is also low. The renovation backlog keeps getting worse: after the railing that should let you leave the otherwise pretty pool was removed, the steps in the pool were also taken down… It still looks picturesque, even though the price‑to‑value ratio is slowly becoming marginal. The breakfast offered in the hotel remains a disaster, and it’s a shame that the wonderful pool bar has not been used for years.

“Unfulfilled potential”

The hotel’s location is really good and it looks very cool, authentic and interesting. The rooms are huge. However, the hotel’s potential feels untapped; better care is needed, such as repairs, renovations, and cleaning of the rooms and the whole area. I paid a different amount than what was shown, and I was surprised to have to cash out several rooms for several nights—so it wasn’t a small amount—at the table :D, with no alternative payment method (card or online). People had to wait at reception while I ran to a cash machine in town, which also cost me extra fees.

There is no restaurant and the room maintenance is lacking.
