The place sits in a quiet, green area that feels very peaceful, and the hosts are friendly. The main issue was that the cottage is two‑storey, so some beds were on the upper floor. We were traveling with very small children, and the stairs were extremely steep, making every ascent and descent a hassle. Free Wi‑Fi was advertised, but it never worked at all during our stay, even though the rules warned that problems might occur. In this town, network coverage is already weak, so that was frustrating. The last disappointment was the lack of a hair dryer; the property shared a single broken one among all cottages, and we had to ask the owner daily for it and return it afterward.

The owner was lovely, always ready to help and answer any question, creating a nice vibe. The property hosts two adorable dogs and chickens, and across the street there are alpacas, which kids find exciting. The large estate features a playground, a trampoline, a wooden playhouse, a pool, and hanging chairs, making it a pleasure to spend time there. It’s conveniently about a 10‑minute drive to Ełk, the municipal beach, or the owners’ private beach. We’ll definitely return and are very satisfied with our stay. On the downside, the room was a bit dirty—dust and cobwebs under the bed, in the wardrobe, and in the bathroom. The apartment is very small, but adequate for a couple with a small child for a few days. It’s a bit inconvenient that there’s no sink in the bathroom, but you can manage.
