“Great experience! Will definitely recommend others to stay.”
The crew was overall pretty great, everything ran smoothly and my wife had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, she had a nightmare where a ghostly little girl and a man in an old military uniform harassed her, and she woke up screaming.
“A great overnighter.”
Kids of all ages had a blast, and we adults felt nostalgic too; the older kids loved the night ghost tour, while the little ones enjoyed roaming the ship’s exterior, the captain’s bridge, and seeing the helm and both ends of the boat—great fun for an overnight stay. We were heading back to San Diego after cheering on our nieces at an OC sports tournament, so we thought an overnight on the Queen would be a treat for kids who’d never been aboard. We planned to skate at Juniper Beach the next day and stroll around the shopping area across the water; everyone had a good time. The only missing pieces were a game room/arcade for kids, a movie theater, and an outdoor pool, bar, and hot tubs on the big deck at the back of the ship—those would have made us stay longer.
“Absolutely fantastic experience”
It was unique and an amazing place to stay and learn the history. There was nothing that we didn’t like
“Nice staff all over. No daystay or late check out options”
The art deco vibe was spot on. The only downside was that there was no coffee in the cabin.
“Excellent experience on the Queen Mary”
I liked the location, the paranormal tour, the history, the staff were very friendly, and my room was cool. The prices were a little high, but I understand that goes towards the ship upkeep.
