A quiet, safe, and comfortable place, but the dining chairs were a problem.

Well maintained—clean bathroom, systematic door locks for privacy, clean kitchen, and the host Sharon runs things well; it was nice to meet her twice, but the location is a bit far from the center, and when trains are down for three days, the 30‑minute direct train to Penn Station in New York isn’t ideal.

The place looks like a hotel at first glance, but it’s really just a private house that rents out rooms, and it smelled awful.

It was a very good place overall, though some motorcycles on Sunday afternoons rattling up and down the street were annoying; otherwise everything was nice and clean, thanks.
