I liked the nice surroundings, the good breakfast, the lovely restaurant and the very friendly staff, but the rooms smelled extremely like room spray, probably because not all guests stick to the non‑smoking rule.

The location along the A6 was convenient, and when I asked I received a free double‑room upgrade in the annex building. There was also a free pool/spa area in the basement. Breakfast was decent. The rooms were generally clean, yet they still feel like an era when smoking was normal, which you notice. Luckily a fan was in the closet, giving some airflow during that hot night. There was no air conditioning. The church tower directly opposite required earplugs. For one or two nights it was basically fine, but not for 94 € including breakfast.

The staff were very friendly, and the chef even came to the dinner table to ask if we were satisfied – we were.

“Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt”

The reception was very warm, making you feel at home, and breakfast was good, but the church bells need to be turned off.
