The location is good, the spa facilities are nice, the staff is friendly, the room is nice, very clean, and the breakfast is good. Buddy the bird! The spa is included—good insurance against bad weather! The coffee at breakfast was weak; instant coffee, water and milk would be appreciated by caffeine addicts who need a stronger brew.

It did what it was supposed to for a one‑night stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of coffee and tea in the room. The bed was comfortable with good pillows. Breakfast was excellent. The shower pressure was low and the shower enclosure was small.

The hotel sits in the middle of Forfar, and everything was clean and tidy. I didn't encounter any issues.
