The accommodation is small but has lots of thoughtful touches. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The bed was very comfortable. The room can get warm, so it’s a good idea to open the kitchen windows if you are out for the day. The bird life was lovely, but there wasn’t much water in the stream. Overall, we were pleased to stay here. The bar fridge is too small and has a shelf in the door that is unusable. A fan would be a good idea when the rooms heat up on sunny days

It was very cute and comfortable with lovely views; we appreciated the fluffy dressing gowns, the bathroom was lovely, and the shower was spacious—perfect for a two‑night stay in Tākaka. The mice running across the plastic roof at night were noisy and echoed in the room.
