Lovely hosts, super helpful and recommended restaurants in the area; the location is peaceful, though the bed could be better.

The welcome was extremely warm and helpful. The managers are very kind and give good advice. The pool is great, the setting is extraordinarily peaceful. The air conditioning works very well, breakfast is good, and Annie’s restaurant next door is excellent and inexpensive. For our first stop in Cambodia we’re delighted! The access road is dirt but still manageable even after rain, everything runs smoothly. Huge thanks for the peaceful days spent in your haven of peace and simplicity.

The setting is nice, and the little restaurant right next door is appreciated because it only served breakfast; I remind you it was September, low season. The resort holds your passport instead of the scooter rental company, even though that isn’t very legal. The two owners are cool and don’t mind the scooter… and the pool is nice, though you have to remove leaves that fall because of the wind, and nobody will do it for you. The mattress, a mattress-shaped board, is very hard, but everyone has their own opinion; I just wish I’d known that. There’s no dining on site, which I wasn’t told about when booking, and the last kilometer before arrival is a road full of potholes, so even on a tuk‑tuk or scooter it’s not great—lots of jolts… and there’s a place right behind, during the day, it must be a play area or something… karaoke at night until 9 p.m., which gives me a headache, lots of shouting, the speaker is terrible, the singing is bad, and the sound is awful, ruining the calm vibe.
