I arrived to check in and there was no room; no notice was given and I was left stranded on the street even though payment had already been taken. I called customer services, they told me to contact them, but I am still waiting for a reply and a refund.

I paid $60 for two nights and couldn’t check in. It has now been a month and I still haven’t received a refund. The property provider never answered my calls or messages during the declared check‑in time, nor did they respond to the Booking official customer service. I requested a refund, but two days later the Booking customer service told me the property provider hadn’t confirmed my cancellation request, the booking remained active, and I was still denied a refund. Here’s what happened step by step: 1) I reserved this apartment for two days on “Booking”; 2) The host was unreachable via cell, WhatsApp, and the “Booking” app chat, so I couldn’t check in and had to find another hotel to avoid sleeping on the street; 3) The “Booking” official customer service had been telling me for weeks that the provider was still not responding to either me or the “Booking” representatives; 4) The end. This case became my worst experience on “Booking” and has made me question the brand’s service, customer care, and overall trustworthiness.
