Storms River Forest Lodge

The place is lovely, well‑maintained, and fully equipped with plenty of parking. The kitchen is well‑equipped and the common area is comfortable. Michelle, the manager, is a wonderful, kind, and professional person. I stayed both in the dormitory and in one of the tents. The dormitory is simple but cozy, though it can be a bit hot in summer. The tent offers more privacy at a slightly higher cost, but I would not recommend it in bad weather because of wind and rain noise and the inconvenience of reaching the bathrooms. Wi‑Fi coverage is excellent everywhere.

“Happy camper”

The reception was friendly, I stayed in a tent with a very comfortable bed and had access to all facilities—showers, kitchen, lounge dining spaces, and gardens. The only downside was hearing every word from our young neighbors 😆.

The lodge is well run and clean, the staff are attentive, and there are ample facilities in the manor house for communal use.

A cozy stay with a range of options! The location was a bit off for us, mainly because the village itself has little to offer. The lodge offered lovely cooking possibilities, a good breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our tent felt cramped and cold, but there was a shared living room that could be heated with a wood stove. The house pets, Tarzan and Luca, were also very pleasant.

A great place, especially when you consider the value for money. The staff were very friendly, the garden was large with plenty of ways to relax, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent, and I’d book here again anytime.
