“A beautiful property in a secret garden”
It’s a real gem; this secluded historic property boasts extensive grounds to wander, wide lawns, lush plants, and family temples—like a secret garden. My room didn’t match the Mughal fantasy I’d imagined, but it was very comfortable, with tall, firm beds, nice linens, a smart layout, and a very good bathroom. Every room has its own terrace, some under porches, offering views over the lawn, so there are no corridors and no door‑slamming from rowdy guests. The restaurant serves good food, though there’s no beer (I’d have liked one after a long trip), and breakfast is also good. The staff are very attentive and helpful, making this a top choice. The only downsides are that the area outside the Deobagh isn’t great, so you need transport, and the unpleasant floodlighting common in India ruins the nighttime ambience and should be removed. The Deobagh itself is beautiful, and Neemrana should preserve that beauty as much as possible.
