The Hotel Stadt Hameln is situated close to the Weser river in Hameln, offering elegant accommodations 50 metres from the exhibition centre. Built in palace style, it features tastefully furnished rooms with en-suite bathrooms and Wi-Fi. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served daily, and modern German cuisine is offered in the restaurant. A riverside beer garden serves beer and wine.

I stayed in a nice large room with a spacious bathroom, everything was very clean. The central location meant only a few minutes on foot to the old town, and on sunny days the terrace with a direct view of the Weser was worth a visit. The breakfast buffet left no wishes unfulfilled, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly, the service attentive and warm. In short, a very good address for a weekend or short holiday in Hameln; we’ll definitely come back! The only downside was that the bed’s spring system felt a bit like a trampoline; a box‑spring would have been a top‑tier alternative.

We had booked a better room, but it still surpassed our expectations. It was simply perfect, and it’s a shame it was only for one night. The location was ideal, as we could reach the city center quickly on foot. The breakfast was also very tasty (my husband just missed something sweet). We’ll gladly return, because Hameln itself is very appealing. I can’t think of any negatives!

The location is perfect; the old town is a few minutes’ walk away. The service is very friendly, the breakfast is versatile. The ground‑floor room could be seen from the riverside promenade, so blinds would be more practical than a roller shade.
