The hotel delivered exactly the relaxing break I had been hoping for; my room was clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I especially appreciated having a peaceful spot to return to after a day out.

The staff were welcoming, polite, and nice, and they supplied an electric kettle when I asked. The location brings highway noise, and there’s no elevator.

I'm still trying to figure out how this place managed to get a roof over its guests' heads. The room was a mess, the bed was uncomfortable, and don't even get me started on the bathroom. It was like they just phoned it in.

The hotel's location is great, but that's about where the positives end. The room had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, and the windows were so bad at keeping out the noise that I barely got any sleep. To top it off, breakfast was only available an hour and a half before the official start time.
