The staff were friendly, the room was decent, and the pub vibe and beer were good.

It wasn’t what we expected, but it was a hoot! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was massive, and Madeline was lovely.
It’s a classic, proper pub: friendly, good music, very reasonable prices, I’ll definitely come back, and it’s just a 10 minute walk to the gorge.

The large room is gorgeous with lovely decor, the bathroom and shower are good; it was a little noisy until the pub calmed down, but that’s expected for a pub.
